scotSCOT T. KOKANDY(EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) was one of the “People of Godspell” who produced Godspell on Broadway in 2011. Scot began his theater career as an actor while earning a BS from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from Purdue University. In 2010, Scot fused his business acumen and love for the theater to found Kokandy Productions, which has gone on to mount 10 mainstage productions and garner 28 Jeff Nominations and three wins. Scot also co-produced 2011’s Good Boys and True with Hammond Indiana’s Towle Theater, and 2013’s Musical of Musicals: The Musical with Zachary Gipson at the 4th Street Theater in Chesterton, Indiana.

allisonALLISON HENDRIX (PRODUCING ARTISTIC DIRECTOR) is the director of Kokandy’s New Musical Staged Reading Series, serving as literary coordinator and dramaturg, and will direct 2015’s Loving Repeating. Previous Kokandy credits include Assassins (Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme), The Last Five Years (Cathy – Jeff Nomination, Principal Actress in a Musical), and The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Music Director). She has also worked with companies including The Hypocrites (Into the Woods – Baker’s Wife), Piven Theatre Workshop (Cities of Light – Music Director / “Jimmi”), Boho Theatre (Floyd Collins – Associate Music Director/Conductor), Bailiwick (Zanna, Don’t – Music Director), The Ruckus (The Inevitable Heat Death of the Universe – Director), Village Players Theater (The Full Monty – Music Director) and Towle Theatre (Floyd Collins – Music Director and recipient of NIETF Award for Best Vocal Direction).

johnJOHN D. GLOVER (ARTISTIC PRODUCER) most recently directed Kokandy’s The Full Monty (Sweet Smell of Success (also nominated) before that.  For six years, John was responsible for the artistic and fiscal direction of the Theater Company of Purdue University and has directed regionally in Ohio and Indiana, including directing the grand opening production of the Theatre at the Center in Munster. John is the recipient of several Northern Indiana Excellence in Theater Foundation awards (NIETF), including Best Direction of a Musical for Pump Boys and Dinettes at Purdue Theater Company and Best Direction of a Musical for Floyd Collins at the Towle Theater. He was also the recipient of the NIETF Award for Lifetime Achievement in Regional Theater. In the “real world,” John is the Chief Operations Officer of a not-for-profit, faith-based senior living ministry.

KORY DANIELSON (RESIDENT MUSIC DIRECTOR) is a Chicago-based music director, pianist/conductor, and vocal coach. His work with Kokandy includes productions of Assassins, The Full Monty, Loving Repeating, Heathers, and Tomorrow Morning . Kory also serves as the associate conductor/assistant music director at Paramount where he has worked on The Little Mermaid, Mamma Mia, West Side Story, Hairspray, A Christmas Story, Oklahoma!, Les Misérables, and Tommy. Other selected credits include: Passion – 2014 Jeff Award for Outstanding Music Direction, Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Theo Ubique); How To Succeed… (Porchlight); Hedwig, Wedding Singer (Haven); Zanna Don’t, Lucky Stiff, Triumph of Love (TMTC). Kory has also worked with Drury Lane, Broadway in Chicago, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Bailiwick, and Hell in a Handbag.

BEN HINC (TECHNICAL CONSULTANT) is excited to be continuing his work with Kokandy Productions. Ben has been involved in theatrical endeavors since high school, acting in Greater Tuna, The Fantasticks, and others, as well as directing an all-alumni production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. An admirer of theater for many years, Kokandy Productions has given Ben the opportunity to get involved once again, this time focusing on primarily technical aspects. Besides Ben’s work with Kokandy Productions, he also owns Kwinix Consulting which provides web design and multimedia services. Ben recently received an MA in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University.

johnJOHN BURANOSKY (ASSOCIATE) Besides designing props for  Kokandy Productions’ Jeff-Recommended Assassins and Jeff nominated Sweet Smell of Success, John has also worked with The Den Theatre, Hell in a Handbag, and Three Cat Productions in property design; he has acted and directed in many productions throughout Chicagoland as well, with companies including: Marian Theatre Guild, Towle Theater, and Three Cat Productions; and his work in set design earned him a NIETIF award for The Man of La Mancha at the Towle Theater.


pmt2JEFF MEYER (MARKETING, WEBMASTER, GRAPHIC DESIGN) In addition to being a graphic designer and marketing consultant, Jeff is an actor from LA, having received his BA in Music Theatre and Asian and Middle Eastern History from Northwestern University. He played the “Proprietor” in Kokandy’s 2014 sold out production of Assassins (Jeff Award Nominations – Best Musical, Best Ensemble). Recent credits include: Bat Boy (Griffin Theatre), My Fair Lady (Montana Shakespeare in the Parks), Rent (Theo Ubique, 2016 Non-Equity Jeff Award for Best Musical), and Les Miserables (Paramount, 2015 Equity Jeff Award for Best Musical).
