Michelle Jasso (Elizaveta Grushinskaya)
Michelle is delighted to make her Kokandy debut in this wonderful role. A California native, Michelle is a versatile, active performer with credits encompassing opera, cabaret, various types of theatre, television, commercial, and voiceover. Within her repertoire of over 25 leading and supporting roles, favorites include: the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, “Sally Bowles” (Cabaret), “The Witch” (Into The Woods), “The Beggar Woman” (Sweeney Todd, Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award), “Ursula” (The Little Mermaid), and “Lily” (The Secret Garden). In Chicagoland, Jasso has worked with Porchlight Music Theatre, Teatro Vista, Lifeline Theatre, and Oil Lamp Theatre, and regionally with the Wyoming Theatre Festival, Opera Grand Rapids, Portland Opera, and The Industry in Los Angeles. Michelle is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) and of the Alliance of Latino Theatre Artists (ALTA), and is represented by Big Mouth Talent. www.michellejasso.com
